Questions and answers about your digital toll product!

Since January 2021, adhesive vignettes are no longer available. To use most freeways and expressways in Czechia, you need a digital vignette if you are driving a motor vehicle with at least four wheels and a maximum permitted weight of 3.5 tons. Toll-free routes are marked by signage. Motor homes up to 3.5 tons also require a digital vignette. Motorcycles/tricycles and trailers are exempt from this obligation. As of January 2021, some other types of vehicles have been exempt from the vignette requirement (electric cars, hybrid and hydrogen cars, etc.). More information here. Motor vehicles with a maximum weight of more than 3.5 tons are subject to tolls, depending on the route.

No. You no longer need a physical product after successful registration. The digital vignette is linked to your license plate number and the system automatically recognizes whether and for which period your digital vignette is valid.

After you have paid for your order, we will immediately start registering your license plates on your behalf. This usually takes less than 2 minutes! After successful registration with the official toll provider in Czechia, you will receive a registration confirmation with a QR code by mail. Your toll product is now valid and you can start driving!

The digital Vignette is registered diretcly to your license plate. Along the highways and expressways, cameras are used to compare the license plates with the database. This checks whether a vignette has been registered on your license plate.

Generally, the vignette obligation applies to freeways in Czechia from the moment of driving on the road. However, there are some sections of Czech freeways near the border that are exempt from the vignette obligation. These include parts of the D6 near the German border between Cheb and Karlovy Vary, parts of the D7 between Chomutov and Louny near the German border and. On the D1 near the Polish border between Mohelnice and Olomouc, the vignette requirement is waived as well. For travellers traveling near Prague, there are also some highway sections that can be used without a vignette, such as the Prague city ring road on the D0.

You can get the 10-day vignette from 9.90 €. You can also get the 30-day vignette from 14.90 € or the annual vignette from 37.90 €.
